This AQUECOIL™ Hydronic Heating Unit works in conjunction with your preferred brand specified below. This unit is designed for air handler cabinets measuring 21 1/4" x x22".

Product Description

This AQUECOIL™ Hydronic Heating Unit measures "21 1/4" x 22" and works in conjunction with your preferred brand of Air Handler, and a hot water source, to provide residential space heating. It extracts BTUs from the hot water and uses the Air Conditioning Air Handler to distribute the heated air throughout the conditioned space. The AQUECOIL unit is designed to fit over the Air Handler's discharge or return in either horizontal or vertical applications. The AQUECOIL unit eliminates the need for a furnace or heat pump to provide space heating. Not only does the AQUECOIL unit offer a low cost alternative to conventional space heating equipment, it also provides substantial heating capacity, at an attractively low fuel cost, when used with a high efficiency hot water heater or boiler.

Available Options

The optional pump is for use with conventional tank-style water heaters. It also works well for pulling from existing boiler loops. Select the voltage by matching it to the voltage of the air handler on which the HHU will be mounted. Tankless water heaters will require a larger, external circulator and cannot use these factory installed pumps. The optional valves are for use with water heaters. They are intended to prevent thermosyphoning and to ease installation and service of the HHU. This option includes all the components of the Standard "No Lead" Valve Kit. All new installations should use the default discharge configuration. If there is a need to have the HHU mounted to the return side of the air handler, select the "Return-Side Configuration" option. If this unit will be replacing an existing HHU built before 2011 AND there is no way to enlarge or transition the existing duct work, select the "Old-Style Discharge" option.
